S’mores a la Bear

Improve upon a classic by drizzling our refreshing acacia honey over your campfire snack. The forest approves!

Preparation time: 75 minutes
Total cook time: 90 minutes
Serves 5

Ingredients:

  • 7 tbsp butter

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 

  • 1 egg yolk

  • Jumbo Marshmallows

  • 2 tbsp Rebel Bear acacia honey 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cracker dough:
    Whisk the softened butter with the brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg yolk, then the flour. Mix until smooth, and place the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  2. Shape and bake the crackers:
    Roll the dough to about ⅓ inch thickness. Cut it into your desired shapes and sizes. Place the pieces on parchment paper in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Caramelize the marshmallows:
    Using a small flame, carefully caramelize the marshmallows. Place the marshmallows on top of the baked cookies, then top them with another cookie.

  4. Add the honey:
    Drizzle the assembled s’mores with Rebel Bear acacia honey.

Chef's Tip:

To make serving easier, caramelize the marshmallows on the cookies quickly. This will help the marshmallow stick to the cookies better.
